Blessings to u,I'm here actually looking for help,but have spent more time trying to encourage and share things like Freecycle.com and the free section in Craigslist. As a mom just thinking about my own children's faces ,in the place of these stories tears me up. I've probably spent two hours trying to make sure certain folks here about the resources I've found.
I live in PA so I couldn't ask for help,but I just wanted to thank you sincerely for your heart.
I haven't seen my youngest due to issues with my ex and the location of where he lives compared to me. I have gotten to talk to him with the phone but am aching to see him in person. If I would have the money my car won't make it.I'm hoping things turn around this coming year. If u know of any places giving away of gas vouchers or gas cards,please keep me in mind.I can't wait to breathe in the "smell" of him and hold him on my lap,before he gets too big for it.

Thank u. I feel the same way.I need help and want to reach out and help all these people.I get disgusted with the judgmental attitudes and with dome of,not that I've seen here,people who are blatantly ,at least seemingly,one of those that fulfill the stereotype.

I somehow just erased what o had written to aodtwo,Stella6 and granma of nine. I don't have tme to rewrite it all. I'm not a professional but I've been thru the system and of of red tape.,but I will try to help you look up agencies that maybe able to help. I suffer from prada,clinical depression,bipolar anxiety u name it along with fybromiLgia,so I can't know exactly how you feel ,but I can empathise. If I can do something to find some help I will.sorry,I can't help financiAlly,but maybe help u help yerself.
Another place to look is Craigslist. They have a free section. Even when something isn't free it could be super cheap. I was able to buy a really nice leather riding jacket for $20 for my boyfriend for Xmas. He's alreAdy found it and is wearing it,lol. Try the unconventional. I've entered contests,joined sites that u earn gift cards.
Freebies.com puts up stuff and will send you alerts in a newsletter.I won a $10 Victoria Secrets! If u have any ? about what I've mentioned or some sites I'm earning body cards,send me a message . I'll be happy to pass on what I know.blessings.it makes me sad to think of the kids who suffer,a lot of times on silence because of whatever happened .being a mom, I really want to help yer kids too.
There are even places that kids can take surveys and play games to earn gift cards and prizes.
After all this chaos is over,I'm going to start a page sharing the ones I've used and the ones u don't have to have credit cards or sign up for trial memberships.I hate those.if u forget to cancel, yer in a mess!

There's a group called Assetts in lancaster,pa that teaches people the grant process. I was really excited to find this resource,but,it must be the holidays,my head is swirling,lol.

Freecycle.com-sign up and you can post yer wanted items.At the same time people are posting free items they don't need or want.these things could furnish yer house,too.its not junk. I've noticed they have a lot of girls stuff.
Craigslist also.look under for sale then find the free category. Plenty of good stuff there too.
Ilovefreebies.com gives u daily updates of items given away for promos and such.I just won a $10 Victoria Secrets card from aink on there.plus there was no sign up for trial memberships or any of that crap.

I'm still trying to get a kindle for my 12 yr old. I can do portraits and just about any type artwork to payback.also if yer in my area I do pinup girl hair and make-up if someone has a special night out planned and wants to add some diva. I have skills,but am unable to hold a job that would cover my medical or understand the days when clinical depression or ptsd has me to freaked out to leave the house.
Greetings my fellow stressed out,broke down,and well meaning fellows. I'm trying still to get holidays for my two boys.Those pesky utility bills seem to think they need my money more than my boys for the holiday.

Freecycle.com is a place like a trading post,u can put up needed items,but people post,really nice sometimes brand new things they don't need,have doubles of or are just sick of.You may have to create a profile on Yahoo.com for something freecycle groups,but u won't be sorry.I get an update email when new things are posted. Please let me know if this helps.
Also Modest Needs is another helpful resource.They are supported by grants and contributions. The max they can help with is $1500. That sounds like winning the lottery to me,except I could already name some bills that would eat that up.

Still trying to find some holiday help for my two sons. It would be a nice vacation to visit the nuthouse,somedays. I'm grateful for everything I do have and I hope that all of us asking for help don't fall to deep in despair and find some things that are blessings in their life. That's what I'm trying to do right now. If there are Amy angels out there that safe left with something they could help my boys ,I will pay it forward next year.
